For those of you that know me well, you know my history with vehicles.  Those who don't, let me share it with you.  I break cars.  I don't know what I do, but if Im driving a vehicle it breaks down on me. Time and time again.

Three years ago, my family and I moved to the Country and are very close to Elmcreek, MB.  A small town, far enough from Winnipeg to get away from the hustle and bustle of City life, but still close enough to commute back and forth in a short amount of time.

Up until just this week I have been taking my poor, broken cars to random shops in Winnipeg.  Which was an added stress to an already very stressful situation.  I didn't have a good shop I could trust, was afraid of how long I would have to wait for my car to be serviced and cringed when I got the bill.  To them, I was just a number.

As a Real Estate professional I take pride in offering my clients a professional service. I always have their best interest at heart and go the extra mile to ensure that they are happy with their Real Estate choices.  I know the importance of exceptional service, and when I receive it from another company, I will do my best to make sure I let everyone I know know about it.

With that being said, here is the scenario.  Sunday night my battery light came on in my Jeep, then it DIED.  Yup, just my luck.  But, I had a friend come and give me a boost and all was well. In fact, it seemed to be running smoother than it ever had.  So I got home safe and sound.   Monday, I make it into the City for work, still impressed with the way the Jeep was running.  BUT, on my way home my Jeep started acting possessed.  Lights were turning on all over the place, the radio died, lights went out and finally the Jeep just stopped working all together.  So I was left with little choice, as it had died on a gravel road a couple of miles from my house, but to get out and walk. Eventually a neighbour drove by and took me home. Thank goodness, as it was very cold and not very fun walking in heels.

Long story short, my fabulous neighbour called Mark McBride's Auto and Glass Services in Elmcreek, explained the situation and asked if he could squeeze me in.  After a couple of questions they figured it was either the alternator that was shot, or my battery and said to have the Jeep there at 9:00 a.m. the next morning.

I was impressed at how fast they could get me in, but I figured I would be waiting a while as having it there for first thing in the morning in the City didn't usually mean anything.

AGAIN, they surprised me by driving it right into the shop, hooking it up and doing some tests.  Sure enough, it was the alternator!  Imagine my sad face : (

So, they went into the back, brought out some boxes and said they got the alternator the day before just incase that was what the problem was.  REALLY?  Wow!!!!

Not only did they get me in at 9:00, but they figured out the problem, did their thing and got my Jeep out of their running like a brand new vehicle by 9:30 annnnnddd filled my tires that were low with air.

So, end result, I will no longer EVER go anywhere else for any of my car problems but Mark McBride's Auto and Glass in Elmcreek Manitoba. And highly recommend them for all of my Country friends, and even City friends.  204-436-3494, give them a call next time your car needs some TLC.
